This is my groups book report on the story Hatchet by Gary Paulsen Title: Hatchet Author: Gary Paulsen Number of Pages: 195 Protagonist: Brian Robeson: Brian is a thirteen year old boy. Before he was exposed to the wild he was just a normal boy who would just take things for granted and quite moody. He is able to remember things when he was in survival mode and he has a good surviving mind set. Antagonist: The Bush between Canada and America along with the Weather. Conflict: The conflict in the story is the Person vs nature Setting: By the L shaped lake in the bush Plot: his parents divorced,he was depressed he, was in a plane that crashed, Climax:When he changes so he knows how to find food how to hunt and stuff Denouement: He got rescued by a plane pilot Theme:Keep a cool head and try to stay calm, Do what it takes to survive, Use what you have to your advantage, little things can do big things.
